Do you make corrections yourself or let your proofreader make them if they are on the same software as you?

Hi,

Do you let your proofreaders make the corrections themselves if they are on the same software that you use? I like the idea that they can do it themselves, but I would still go over the transcript!  Are the corrections in a different color so you can at least tell what was changed? It would save me so much time if I didn't have to look over the sheet they give me with the corrections and then having to do it myself.  But what do you guys think about that?

Hi Lisa,

I usually let my PR make the corrections if they're very blatant errors.  Eclipse does let you choose a specific color  for this purpose.   She usually makes a comment line that let's me decide on whether to implement a suggested correction.

Thanks for your input!    -    Lovinglifeusa 3/13/2012 12:47:05 PM | Flag
I'm sorry...I called you Lisa cuz I misread your moniker. Guess I need a proofreader!    -    IheartMultiCopy 3/13/2012 2:32:53 PM | Flag
