CAT(s) Assistance

How many of you have your cats providing CAT assistance while you produce your transcripts???  :-)

No cats, but I have a love bird who loves to sing and gets louder and louder until I tell him "Pretty Charlie," then that starts my dog barking because she feels left out.  My dog sleeps at my feet snoring.  When I have let my bird out to fly, he will land on my hands and peck at them, so he has to go back in his cage.

LOL.

One cat sits with me quite a bit; the other glares at me from his favorite chair & springs into action when I get up because he's sure I'm going into the kitchen to feed him.

Back in the early '90s we used to do our own production, and one of the reporters had a big hairy dog.  I remember a client complaining loudly about the dog hair in his transcript.  LOL.

I remember another time a reporter had an appeal transcript laying in her open briefcase, and her cat used it as a litter box!  That was back in the day when a typist typed everything too!

One cat, Mac, all black with beautiful yellow eyes.  He loves to sit on things or in things ... on my printer, in my rolly bag.  Loves to walk across my laptop keyboard ... oh, no, there he goes ... now asdfghjkl;'

My cat is such a trouble maker that I have to gate off my office so as to not let him in.  I think he thinks he's a dog because he'll chew on anything and everything!  He seems to love chewing the computer cables.  One time I accidently left my headphones out and he chewed right through the wire!!  Ahhhh!   Live & learn!  :)

I have one cat that sits in my lap while I'm editing and another one who loves to lay on top of exhibits! 

LOL on your answers!  An attorney firm has resident cats.  Years ago while on an arbitration assignment held at the law office, like IHeartMultiCopy's story, I had one of their cats urinate in my opened roll-along luggage.  I did not hold blame; I could see how it happened.  It was rectangular and just the right size!  The firm bought me a new roll-along!!!!  When the attorneys involved and I are together, they like to relate that story to the arbitrators hearing their other cases!
