I was told a few years ago that used steno paper couldn't be recycled because of the ink that is used.  Does anyone know if this is still the case?

I don't know the answer to this one.  You can order steno paper made from recycled paper.  It makes sense to me that the ink would be a problem in the recycling process.

I don't know either, but why can we recycle newspapers and junk mail and computer-printed paper and typewritten paper that all has various types of ink on it??  Almost everything we recycle has ink on it.  You should call or email the manufacturer of the ink to ask if it's a concern to you.
