1/28/2012 2:46:24 AM An attorney just ordered a transcript of a district justice hearing, but he didn't send over a caption, he just told me the case name and number and that stuff. I don't know what to put at the top of the caption page. I have one template that says, "In The United States District Court, For The Eastern District Of Pennsylvania." Does anyone know if that's the right one? Thanks |

No matter what job you do, always, always ask for a caption. I do it at the beginning of every job, unless the agency has provided it. You have a few choices in getting the caption -- call the attorney that is ordering the transcript, call the court, or call whoever sent you to the hearing. Don't assume what it was; make sure you know what it is. |

I agree. You can't ask any of us on here what it might be. You need to find out exactly which one it is from the agency, attorney or court. I wouldn't chance having the wrong information on my transcript. I'd call and get the correct info! - KRORPERNYC 1/29/2012 5:59:19 PM | Flag |
