11/30/2011 12:54:35 AM I have been out of the reporting world for the past 8 years and am wanting to purchase a new Diamante after previously writing with a Smartwriter. I feel like I am starting from scratch, having to upgrade my Eclipse and even borrow a dictionary from a girlfriend I went through Theory with 30 years ago. As I am deciding on what I want my Diamante to come with I am not sure if I need any of the wide keys since I never used them before, and if I should add the Blue Tooth Realtime upgrade, as well. If anyone has any suggestions or advice as to how I should proceed, I would appreciate your input. Thank You! |

| Melissa Macrelli-Powell I don`t have the Diamante to be exact but I do write with the fusion and if you`re thinking of going back into the field, real time is where iut is at and the blue tooth makes life so much easier - no wires, etc. I highly reccomend it. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 | ||

| Cindy First It`s so great writing wireless! Definitely get it. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 | ||
| Anthony Frisolone The upgrade is so worth it, and you`re going to want to do realtime for yourself on every job to do editing on breaks and building your dictionary. Best I luck. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 | ||
| Kelly Lopez I bought it and never used it. Then when I tried to return it they wouldn`t take it back because I did it through the lease. Now I am stuck with it - they are so hard to deal with!!! If you want wireless I`ll sell you mine at a discount!!!!!!!!!!! Wednesday, November 30, 2011 | ||
| Trish Fogle Blue Tooth is definitely the way to go. It makes for a easier and faster set up, and you don`t have to carry around the extra cords. Also, it works great if you`re working in court and need to do either a chambers conference or private hardships for jurors in another room. You don`t need to worry about the realtime part of it, because it either continues the realtime on your laptop while you`re in the other room, or if the signal doesn`t reach, when you get back to your laptop, it automatical Wednesday, November 30, 2011 | ||
| Sherry Graham One less cord to worry about especially when working in small places Wednesday, November 30, 2011 | ||
| Laura Axelsen They dont INCLUDE Bluetooth? Wednesday, November 30, 2011 | ||
| Sandi Walker I don`t use it and I get by. I work in court. There are times I think it would be nice but I don`t like to pay extra for something when I could use that money for something else. I just have to unplug and replug in my cable when I have to go in chambers or into the hallway for a confidential hearing. It is a personal preference, I guess, for what kind of convenience you are willing to pay for. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 | ||
| Jean Rohrer There are NO returns for the Diamante. When I bought mine I had a lot of problems with it and it took a miracle for Stenograph to finally fix the problems. My advice is to use the machine for a while befor you buy it. The tripod is so cheap that if you turn the knob to the left too far, it falls off. Thursday, December 01, 2011 | ||
