11/17/2011 4:12:04 PM I am in CR school and wrote an assignment to paper - but now I have to submit a .pdf file through Case Catalyst. If I understand correctly, there should be a way that I can retrieve notes from my writer's memory and translate them, but I can't figure out how to do this. |

What kind of writer do you have? I have a Mira and CaseCat, and always do real time, so this step is not necessary, because all my notes are already on my laptop and already translated. However, the easiest way to do it is to take out the disk, insert it into your laptop and hit "read notes". The device would be your writer. The method would be disk drive (if that's what you're doing). You can also do it by direct cable. Hit okay. You have to highlight the job that you want to go onto your computer, hit okay, and the notes are read, but not translated. You then have to translate them. Hit the translate button at the top, steno source is file. Click on the file to translate and okay. |
