Where do I start....

If I need to sell my machine, where is a good place to start posting it?  I've never sold anything on ebay before and I think you are supposed to have ratings or something to sell there???  The machine itself is amazing and I hate to sell it to just anyone but it's just not getting used and should be!  Any ideas on websites or good places to start? Thanks everybody!

If you use ebay, you will have to pay fees. Are you near a school? Post a paper ad on their bulletin board for free. If that doesn't work, look into other outlets like JCR or ebay or selling it to a refurbishing company. Try the free option first because it sounds like you're not in a rush.

Hello ...!

You have already received several good answers in the Facebook comments, but if you are on Facebook yourself, there's a page there called "Court Reporter Classifieds."

Good luck ... and hope that helps!

I sold mine on Craigslist.  I think I just got lucky.  I got way more than what the steno repair and resale folks offer.

If there`s a school nearby, I would post ads there. You don`t need to sign up for anything, and it doesn`t matter if you have rating or not. I`m sure tons of students would call you. If you`re not close to a school, I would try EBay anyway (even if you don`t have ratings, I`m sure somebody will buy your machine), and to my knowledge, it is free; or at least, it was when I used it. You can also place an ad in the JCR, but I cannot tell you if an ad there is free or not. Craigslist is good an

Craig`s List may be free but be very careful if you have to meet someone face to face. Lots of crazy stuff happens with Craig`s List. Ebay is much safer even if you have to pay a slight fee. Try Acculaw.com. They sell used equipment so they must buy it somewhere!

I bought my Case Catalyst software used through AccuLaw.com. My transaction was very smooth and they helped me every step of the way. They sell used machines as well ~ you could call them for a price they would list it for you. Costs you nothing to list, but they take a cut, of course.

It`s a Mira A3 not the G2. It was bought by a good friend of mine from school, brand new for $5000 and she worked for a year and never used it once! My other VERY close friend bought it from her....plastic still on it and everything and she ended up having to stop school to take care of a family member. So I bought it from her and she had used it 6 times for practice. I used it for less than a year. It is the most amazing machine ever. Everything works. It writes like a dream. I have all
