What's the best way to maintain a seating chart during a deposition?

I'm a total Post-it person.  In fact, I have a specific chunk of larger-size Post-its I like to put in that space on the table btw. my laptop and my machine for randoms things including seating.  If I blank, I can look at it.  Sometimes I throw job briefs on there.

But I'm also apparently a little more on the visual-spatial end with seating.  I completely do it by where people are sitting at the table; so that could be why I do the Post-it thing. too...

I write them on the back of my worksheet.  I draw little boxes and write their designation and then their name.  Eclipse has a virtual seating chart but I always forget to set it to display.

I am totally a member of the don't-move-your-spot club!  And I've had other reporters say Oh, but what if they move seats?  What will you do?  But it's just the way my brain works. 

I actually used to demand that teams of angry elite league hockey players at the Kings practice facility switch benches because home and away needed to match up with the score clock and my score sheet.  It just wasn't worth the pain to keep switching the sides in my head...
