How do I change have only the steno show up on the screen in CaseCatalyst and not translate?

How do I get only the steno to show up on the screen and not actually have what I write be translated in CaseCatalyst. I don't want to use just the notes screen which is narrow. Can I have the actual page do this?

I don't know if there's another way to do it, but you can drag the vertical line to the left of the vertical notes all the way to the left across the translated text, and you will only see the vertical notes and no English translation.  This is on your computer screen if you're writing real time.

Thanks. Yeah, I thought of that. It just looks funny. Perhaps I can play with the font etc and see. I was hoping it was possible with the regular realtime screen.

What is your motive to just having steno?    -    lindasimpson 2/7/2011 8:26:30 PM | Flag
I wanted to force myself to read my steno notes. I'm on a paperless machine and my dictionary is not where it should be. I'm a student and i need a LOT of work on my dictionary so I figured this way I can figure out what I meant to write instead of having my dictionary attempt to translate what I wrote.    -    Dania Sepahrokh 2/8/2011 9:39:00 AM | Flag

turn off the "automatic" translating feature on your software so all you untranslates will stay untranslated. would that help?
