9/28/2010 10:57:49 PM I'm looking to do deposition's in NY and elsewhere and would like to offer my clients conference rooms free of charge. Unfortunately, at the moment all I have found is Regus and their pricing is exorbitant. How are the agencies offering these services free of charge? |

Hey, I don't know of a way to find that out. Something you can try is calling a firm in that city and asking them if you could work out something with them. In Jacksonville, Florida, if I needed to borrow a conference room, I paid 25% of the total job for the conference room. Of course, then you have everything else that your client will need. It is really a drop in the bucket compared to what the firm pays on a monthly basis. So that is why it is so expensive. People are all about making more money without having to do anything but rent out a room, and so I'd check with the firms first. You may be surprised. Good luck, Carol DeBee Martin |

| Debbie Pitillo Ketring Try Executive Suites. Unsure about the free of charge thing, though. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 | ||
| Kristine Jones Nothing is free...try the library or chamber of commerce, but even they have a charge!! Executive suites are the best that I`ve found. Sometimes other reporting companys will network but they`re making a profit off the job too. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 | ||
| Barbara Hightower westlawdepositions.com, ... Fink & Carney 1.800.NYC.FINK, ... Or call the NY School for Court Reporting and Career Institute 914.686.3341 and let them direct you ... My Suggestion. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 | ||
| Amy Seligmann umm....that`s like asking around for court reporters who print copies free of charge. look for cheap, not free :) Wednesday, September 29, 2010 | ||
| Cathy Penniston Try the courthouse. If you are taking depositions, they are usually glad to offer you a jury room or court room that is not in use. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 | ||
| Linda Marino I also suggest calling Fink & Carney as well. Easy to work with, very nice office. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 | ||
| Laura Klingenberg Fowler Law libraries are good and also just local law firms sometimes will offer them, but remember to take some goodies to thank them. Mortgage brokers, too. Thursday, September 30, 2010 | ||

| Maryl Hart You might also try public libraries, esp. in smaller towns/cities. I find them to be quite obliging. Thursday, September 30, 2010 | ||

| Hugh Gunn I think agencies that are offering free conference rooms are doing so with reference to conference rooms in their own office suites. I am not aware of any reporting agencies offering free conference rooms nationwide or worldwide unless they are nationwide or worldwide and they have offices in cities nationwide or worldwide.
