Do you send reciepts for paid invoices?

Hello,

I just want to know if any of you send reciepts for all invoices that were paid.  For example, I sent an invoice to a law firm about two weeks ago.  It was paid by their client within five days (yowza).  My question is, should I send back an invoice marked paid?

Hey,

I do not send receipts for paid invoices unless it is paid by a credit card over the phone.  Then I have a stamp that says PAID and it has a place for a date and check number.  I just put VISA payment and the date and I sign it.  So the receipts I do give are simple and not requiring a lot of time, but they serve the purpose.  Everyone is happy.  Carol DeBee Martin
