How do you like your Lightspeed writer?

Anyone working with a Lightspeed out there? I had the chance to borrow one for a couple of months, and although it takes some time to get used to it, when I finally did I loved it. Nice to be able to sit back and truly relax my shoulders. And it was so amazing not having all that heavy gear to carry around!
And now they have a couple of new models out, and I can't stop thinking about taking the leap...

Yes, I agree it is "nice to be able to sit back and truly relax my shoulders."

I've only been using my new LS for a couple of months but absolutely LOVE it!  It definitley takes some getting used to.  I'm still working on getting my untran rate back to normal.  It's approx .5% higher than on my Mira, but it's gettting better.  I'm so glad I made to leap.

Good luck!

When you mention sitting back and relaxing the shoulders, are you talking about putting the Lightspeed in your lap?  How are you "sitting back" and writing?

I have a painful right shoulder and have had to do a lot of stretching and alignment work to keep it calmed down.  Without any doubt, I can say it's the computer that has wrecked the havoc, but any adjustment I can make would help.

Wendy, yes, when you have a writer in your lap, you can rest your back fully on the chair and write with your elbows close to your torso, as opposed to having them forward in order to reach your hands to a machine in front of you.
